LVOF has been putting on experimental electronic music in mid Wales for the last 6 years. Before that and in parallel I have been releasing DIY rural psychedelia for over 28 years!!. With Covid comes a new (re) focus. Thanks for considering supporting me! I aim to find 50 subscribers to help support my new 'tape music' and booklet series and get the music to you the fan of this obscure music.
Subscribing helps me plot and cover some costs of the physical manifestation of what we do. To a limited extent this means future physical releases but...now that we have had on LVOF festival event (March 2022) subscription income can help offset costs of doing it again next year---I am not yet sure if we will-but, the more subs that come in the easier that decision comes!
During 2022 we will complete the 'film' project around the St Caron's Well, we're plotting events for July and possibly October and there will be some form of documentation and 'release' for this. So, subscribing will get you access and acknowledgement in that. There may also be ways for interested subscribers to be integrated in this...not sure how that would look but I have a few ideas.
In 2020/21 LVOF released a number of micro edition booklets with tapes/cdrs each limited to maximum of 50 and it would be great if you wanted to help me by subscribing. Upfront annual subs really helps by giving me confidence. And doing so you get quite a discount on items, worldwide postage is waived on the booklets within your subscription plus you get the entire digital discog.
A yearly subscription of will get you each of the first three releases (depending when you join in the cycle these may be-now are SOLD OUT! so if this is an issue please ask me re. stock levels) a 25% discount on all other physical releases, the LVOF screen print t shirts, 10" lathe cut (SOLD OUT as of 18.3.21) and the Nakamura CD/booklet, plus all the digital material on the site, currently there are 22 digital releases, mostly album length, and in the next months I have migrated to the site albums and archive releases from Our glassie Azoth and Alphane Moon. All subscribers will get first dibs on new releases as well as acknowledgement in the booklets., and I expect other subscriber only stuff too. Some solo, some collaborative and some curated releases.
As of April 2022 there are 22 digital releases, some spanning several album lengths compiled for convenience, ep ranging nearly 27 years of my music along with other releases, but this is not a shrine to the past, most of the releases here are current crop and as we move to put on again live excursions subscriber helps us realise this, so, if you are interested in arcane rural psychedelia and experimental drone and electronica this subscription offers a good hit.
What is coming?
Film project and documentation for the St Caron's Well. There may be at least one more micro edition cassette or cdr with handsewn, artisan booklets--: Llanerch The Trees (SOLD OUT), The Shining Pyramid (SOLD OUT) and The Surface of Past Time (SOLD OUT); in the pipeline/ideas may include a live compilation releases the: In a Strange Garden series of live performances we've captured over the years, one volume is already available, others including Ashtray Navigations, Hawthonn, itdreamedtome are in the pipeline, Later in early 2022/23 there will be the last in the Unland series (this may be subsumed in the July project) so-there is stuff but it remains inchoate!
