This is a sketchpad of pure synthesis using Daniel M Karlsson's SuperClean utility for Super Collider. This was a new approach for me. I was drawn to its elegance and simplicity and yet...the strange abstractions are familiar and alluring, their ergodic melodies sweetly jarring The later SuperClean transformations in particular seem to confer a chamber music sonority to the at other times clearly synthesized elements. It's a marvellous, enlightening bit of software which even in inexpert hands can yield strong and strange results and, I had it in mind that these would possibly lead towards the (now stalled) Like Hyanthe All Teares. In particular the last track In a Strange Chamber. You can listen in any order but the sequence presented flows well as far as I am concerned. At 68 minutes it's little too long for the cdr release I had planned.
